The Issues

The Issue Database
The Issues listed below are ones which can be found in our matching system. When entering the questionnaire on the main page, your responses will be matched to the stance of each particular candidate. Either they agreed or disagreed with our simple two pointed issue. If they were on the fence or had opposing viewpoints to both sides then their response was marked as "Indifferent."

You can use the same notion as well. If you are unsure on a particular issue, feel free not to answer. Then, your response will be marked "Indifferent." When finishing your questionnaire before submitting, you'll be presented with two check boxes. They allow you to specify if one of your uncertain issues should match any candidate response or if a candidate was unclear if it should match whatever your response was. One thing to note is that if you and a candidate both answer "Indifferent" it counts as a match.

Most of our information comes directly from the Candidate's campaign web page. Otherwise, other reputable sources were used. On the result page you'll find links to the sources of our information so you can follow-up yourself. We have also defined some of the political terms for your convenience below. Also feel free to hover your mouse in most places as it can pop-up additional information.
